Fedora (2024)

Fedora follows a dorky teen who comes face to face with the laws of hat-traction!

As part of my final year studying Screen Arts at Curtin University I've taken upon the role of Production Designer, handling costumes, set design and props for this short coming-of-age comedy. My vision for the art department was to represent an authentically Australian high school experience of an endearing dork, whilst veering more towards outlandish imagination rather than ugliness and malice. One key aspect of this design was to capture the Australian nature of the film and its romantic plot through the symbolic bird motifs, representing courtship displays. We've just wrapped production and have entered the post production stage so stay tuned for the final film later this year.
